am the mother of a six-year-old autistic boy. There was a time
when I believed that his future lay in an institution. We didn’t
qualify for any assistance because he was diagnosed mildly autistic,
but like all children with autism, Roy was from another planet.
From language, to social skills, to unruly behaviour to seclusion
to a basic inability and what deceptively seemed unwillingness
to enter out world. I did millions of hours of reading, researching
the internet, attending autism talks of every kind; Implementing
a home-based ABA program, diet, vitamins chiropractic healing,

A piece of the puzzle that was my son began to fall into place.
But how could Roy be mentally normal, reading writing, and yet
be so miserable in his own body? Something was wrong. He could
oscillate from periods of almost normal to extreme autistic behaviour.

Vitality I’d noticed an article here and there written by
a homeopathic doctor Tamara Der-Ohanian. In one article she talked
about homeopathy and in another she talked about autism, and homeopathy.
I took a chance. Hope was almost dead. I hit the jackpot! I realized
that the missing piece of the puzzle did not exist. It was the
way I was putting the pieces together. Homeopathy deals with one’s
entire being. Most of Roy’s abnormal behaviour has disappeared.
He is calm, he can engage in conversation, he socializes and his
worst punishment is a time out from the group.
He
qualified to enter a normal grade-one class, with an E.A. We still
have a way to go, but homeopathy is building such a strong foundation,
because it is treating Roy as a whole person.

"My acne started gradually around age 14, and
at the time it was on my face and back. I was embarrassed
to take off my shirt in front of others. By age 26 I felt
shameful and had suffered tremendous embarrassment. I was
advised to see a dermatologist at that time and was prescribed
500 mg of tetracycline per day. I was on the drug for the
next 10 years and if I ever missed a dose, I would pay for it
with large eruptions on my face. At age 38, I was prescribed
Minocin (antibiotic), which seemed to work better, but I had to
get my liver tested for possible toxicity every year. The
drugs did not completely eliminate the breakouts, but kept them
